oil light has come on why ??? help

got my 20xe up and running today started up fine went for a little run up an down the street came back turned her off. then started her back up and the OIL light has come on and wont go off even tried revving her up a few times thought oil pressure mite have been low but still stays on WHAT COULD THIS BE ?????? HELP

yes mate used nearly 5 litres ???

Is it a new build?

Is it just a new engine change?

Faulty wire from oil sender maybe?

Maybe a blocked pickup pipe?

Maybe a dodgy oil pump.

Answers to the first 2 questions may get the ball rolling better.

The only parts i renewed was the top end few other bits and bobs ??

Stuck oil pressure relief valve. Do not start the engine again! Nylon valve from sbd, done.

Great i was hoping it was an easy fix eg oil sender.. Thanks mate r u sure tht could be the fault ?

Worse could be a genuine lack of oil pressure =bye bye engine
