I have the Clifford avant guard 5.5 in my gt4. It's an awesome alarm, got it a few years back so was maybe cheaper then.

How much do they go for nowadays anyway? and where you looking to buy it from?

There's an authorised Clifford dealer on the bay offering the alarm and tracker all fitted for £749.99. I like the fact it has built in intelistart (the only insurance approved one available) and turbo timer as standard.

Not much more expensive then what I paid about 3 years ago then. Can't beat the intel start Especially in the winter! Doors stay locked when you start it and if someone managed to get in when it was running it would just cut out the second you touch the pedals. I would happily recommend this alarm. My nova will be getting the same one also.

Well mine won't be seeing winter (its allergic to the salty roads lol) its more of a engine preservation with bling factor. I had it on a concept 650 afew years ago and was great fun sscaring people having a nose through the window.

Haha, yeah you can have a bit of fun with it the look on people's faces when it starts and no ones inside is priceless lol

The first time you leave it in gear by mistake then intelli start will not be too intelligent

You have to set the intel start before you switch off so can't accidentally be switched on. Can only be set whilst the car is in neutral and feet off the pedals.

That's Vauxhalls fault. Neutral switch ftw.

I will use the razor wire to open the door, and bring a Rottweiler bitch to distract him.

The Nova shall be mine! Mwuhahaha etc.
