Mk2 headlights

I just recently bought a nova and I checked it all over apart from the lights, so done that today.

The drivers one seemed very dull so I changed both front bulbs, but still the drivers side one is dull? Could this be the headlight unit itself?

does it look darker inside the glass part if so the chrome inside goes dull and thats what dims the lights...??

Emm not really, just looks like the bulb has hardly any power going to it? Confusing

Could be a faulty dim/dip relay, if it has one - it will be mounted on or by the footwell kick panel, can't remember which side off the top of my head.

Iirc, theyre only fitted to mk1's Jack, id say possibly a bad earth to the light/lights on that side of the car!
