View Full Version : 1litre wiringg, conversion

hi all, need some help i fitting a x16xe, i have removed the extra starter wire thin one. now need to change the old 6v coil wire i followed it back behind back of glovebox which then goes behind dash anyone know which or where it is in the fusebox/igntion so i can change it to 12v crankingg cheers dale.

i had a quick look thro i didnt want to take dash out you see, it apprently goes to ignition switch so i go have a look now i guessing there only be 1 litle blck wire so i can tell which ones which, cheers

Just wire the x16xe to the fuse box. Its only a few wires, forget about messing with the resistor wire in the 1l loom

Adam break in down in layman terms so he does it correctly other wise he may blow his fuse box ;)

Basically you need an ignition live that stays 12v when cranking the engine. You don't need to mess with the 1l 6v wire, it ain't needed for your conversion. Can't put it much simpler without writing an essay.
