Personally, I'd try paint the bay in miami, and just tidy the wires up a bit.

I want to paint the whole car including doing the inside and the bay blue but that won't be for a while. I want to tidy the wires but not sure where to start

Move the coil module to behind the inlet? Also remove washer bottle and get a washer bag and mount in cabin?

Remove all the plastic tubing from the wiring loom and re-wrap it in black cloth tape. It will make the loom look less bulky.

Whats all that jazz where the battery used to sit? Also turn the afm so the plug points down then run wires under the pipe

If you wanted to hide the wiring properly you could put as much as you can under the inlet and then lengthen the loom and have it go behind the wings and under the slam pannel. Ive moved alot of the loom on my new engine so i can have it got through the same hole in the bulkhead as the existing loom but i will eventually hide it all properly

Get a nice ally cover with vents/pressed holes in it to cover the rad/slam panel. Will look better.
deffo repaint the bay,
Paint the servo,
wrap the grounds that are behind the pass headlight,
blue leads,
Paint the oil cap black.
Can you do something with the loom on the right side of the engine?

I don't want to go that far as it would make fault finding at track days harder imo.

Lengthening the loom that is.

I didn't say that... (if it was aimed at me)

No was aimed at Chris :)

One big carbon panel over the lot

How about a small block so the bay is less cluttered? lol

Or get mike to design and make you a carbon engine cover

Paint the oil cap black.

Couldn't find any black paint...

Remove the washer bottle and get one of those bag things?

Blue leads and maybe fashion a cover thats sits over the rockers and the loom to the side of the engine?

The standard c25xe cover would hide all that loom to the right, but as I'm running x25xe rocker covers the oil filler is in the wrong place.

Cut a hole lol

With my SR the main focus was the engine bay, for the loom I cut a hole on the opposite side of the battery and ran the wires on the inside of the wing coming back out behind the headlight, will need to lengthen some wires though, I cant remember if its the windscreen water bottle and/or the expansion tank that you can hide in the scuttle bay, could always get a corsa B brake servo which will remove the servo in the bay.

One thing I really thought looked good on my SR was the smoothed chassis legs, I used filler so instead of being like an L shape they were more rounded and I also hid that little lump from the strut top area to the headlight area. There are many pictures of my engine bay in my (now redundant) project thread. I thought it looked the mutts nuts!

That is a good start! A carbon fiber cover like the std one could be a good start.

just tidying the wires up should do the job it looks a good job what you've done
Maybe a lil colour coding under the bonnet, nothin ott tho :)

Personally I like the black bay, was thinkin of doin mine cuz its a vibrant blue of some kind and it would contrast nicely. What black is it or next suitable thing?
