nova 1.4 sr distributor

Im after a distributor for my nova and I have found on for my engine 1.4nv its a new part from a company that make/rebuild them and have one with out the vac advance on it listed as track/grass track. Does anyone one know if it would be a problem to run it as I don't have the vac advance attached as I am running twin carbs

You won't need to worry about it, just slightly advance the distributor to compensate to get ideal idle running.
That's what I did when I ran a bike carb setup on my old NZ engine and it was fine once I'd got it to where it positioned right.
