Listed a set of as new Irmscher Astra G twin headlamps a few weeks back, listed them at a start price of £190. I got one retard say 'on the astral g headlights (black ones) can I offer 135?'.

The Astra I put on eBay recently someone offered me A SWAP for an iPhone 4! lol jog on penis.
And I also had one asking me to deliver the Astra 60 miles for free after trying to knock off £60!! I was only asking go £400 for the whole car!!!! With 6 months fresh tax at a cost of £125 to me

I had someone asking if I would send to South America. I said no as the postage would be mental. They said they were paying so what was the problem. OK, let me rephrase, fcuk off I can't be arsed lol Bit harsh but it would be a nightmare getting a quote for them to say it was too much. If they did agree to postage then decide they were going to mess me around and say it arrived damaged etc. Plus the involvement of export/import duties etc. Sod that.

I put some tickets up for my dads friend stating in the ad he wanted face value back on them as couldn't attend, 4 available, even put quantity in the auction (Buy it Now). 90% of the emails I got were asking if they got 4 tickets for the face value of 1, or how much 4 tickets would cost or even how much 1 ticket was!!... I gave up replying in the end. When I eventually put up the best offers nearer the date of the event, I was getting offers of half the face value of 1 ticket for all 4 etc.

Eventually sold to someone that offered 15% below face value for all 4 tickets which was pretty reasonable and just checked that they would be sent recorded next day and offered to pay any postage, and asked if they should expect any problems with entry after buying tickets on ebay, if they needed anything else etc... perfect!

Got a ford engine on Egay for work...Buy it now £450 with a make an offer button...P+P for next day pallet is £72

Get a £300 offer, spoke to the boss...He'll take £380, so try him at £400..

I counter at £400 and the guy accepts.

Cool, he's in Northampton and we are in Bristol. I message asking if he's collecting or having it delivered, he messages delivery as his car is knackered hence buying the engine...Still no payment yet mind...

I message asking for a contact number for the courier and if there is a specific day that is better for delivery that I can aim for..

He sends his number and tells me he wants it asap as his car is knackered...Still, no payment..

Then he sends me a message..."Just to clarify it's £472 to pay when the engine arrives?"

Me...Erm no, it's £472 and then your engine will be sent.

Him..."I don't use paypal and I want to pay by cash when it comes so I can check it'll fit first"

Me...It's paypal or cash on collection only, so I'll just cancel the sale then..

I cancelled the sale and got the fees back and got this message..

"there is no way I can collect as my car needs a new engine, I had been warned about ebay, I am already wishing I hadnt bothered, this is of no use to me"

I replied with..

"I'm wishing you hadn't too. But if you do happen to find a mug that will send you £400 worth of engine after paying £72 delivery out of their own pocket on the 'chance' that you might pay a courier (that has nothing to do with the seller in the first place) £472 in cash and then hope the courier magically returns with the cash...Then well done you.."

Had it been my account and not works I would just have called him a ****...lol
