Nova xe. Best way to wire the pump

Just wondering before I do it what's the best way to wire the fuel pump up for my xe
I was just going do it of the ignition barrel.

Is there a better way ??

The ecu has a fuel pump feed mate

should be a blue and red wire, and its thicker than all the rest, think it comes out where the diagnostic plugs are

I have mine wired onto a separate switch, it adds a small element of theft prevention and also allows you to switch it on/off without the ignition.

I will have a look my looms in bit of a mess because who ever put in the corsa before hand was a c*#t and there's non factory wires going everywhere
One of them went in a loop through the bung and was soldered to itself and nothing else !!!

I like the switch idea sounds good :)

Blue/red from XE loom to live on pump and earth to chassis

I've put an inline fuse as well for the live but you dont really need it tbh
