Right my car is a 87 1.3 sr with 13sb with weber 32/34 and black dizzy.

I was driving down the road and put my car in neutral and it was coasting at 3000rpm. Then did it again and it was costing at 500rpm and cut out. It did that twice. And it smells reily fuely

Flooding maybe? Whip your spark plugs out and see what they are like...

sounds more of a carb issue

Check the carb but also the fuel pipe going to the carb, have the car running and check it for any leakage but as mowgli says, sounds like carb issues, if your lucky, just dirt in the air pipe thing

what air pipe thing,

i noticed today that my carb adaptor plate had come loose so was sucking in air so ive sorted that but still doing it
and i think i have way to much oil on my k&n (would that cause my running problem.

there should be several jets in the carb including an aux air jet, I'm not clued up on 32/34 but my 1.0 runs on a weber 32, most idling problems over the years relate to this model of carb.

I had more problems with a 32/34 than any other carb, I traded mine in when I did the bike carb conversion on my old SR.
