Removing mk2 centre console

How do you remove the mk2 centre console with electric window fittings?

Unclip the EW switches and there's a screw underneath them

There's no screw there mate

There should be plastic covers over the screws

just pull it, you should be able to tell where the screws are then

The screw was under where the cassette holder was, couldn't see a way to get the holder out though so just pulled the centre Console out.

Thats the screw you need to take out; the electric window switch surround should just pull out iirc and that will be under it. I don't think its connected to the bottom of the dash other than by a clip

The screw was further back on mine and I couldn't get the cassette holders out so just had to pull it....
