I'm removing the mechanical fuel pump from my C16SE. I'm popping in a facet fuel pump. Is it best to install as close to the tank as possible or will they're be any noticeable difference if I pop the pump in the engine bay with a filter either side?

C16se ? Are you running carbs? Facets usually have to be near to the tank.

Yeah running carbs on it. Would have preferred a bracket in the bay but if its better near the tank I'll go for that.

I told you to go for a facet fuel pump just like mine lol, right next to the tank, they look gash stuck in the bay mate, and don't work as well that far from the tank

I bought that one, just wondering it the plastic ****ty fuel filters will be okay to put inline. Yours looks good - nice and clean, didn't want to start making up brackets for the underside, or is there a place for it to sit?

Will you not need a pressure regulator to run it for carbs?
