Boost controllers

Any reccomendations? Ideally i want electric.

Ive been looking at the aem tru boost setup bit unsure whether the gauge is a boost gauge aswell as a controller? Ive got a mate running the greddy profec b which does the job but hes sayin its not the best.

Any info would be great

I have the tru boost but I've never used it but from what I can see you have a boost pressure switch to monitor the boost a solenoid to control the boost and then the gauge which is the brains, it can't boost boost by gear like the avcr or multi setting like the esmart but it does look easy to use unlike the others

Ahh ok mate cool, does the gauge show actual boost aswell?

Yes mate as a numerical value in the middle and LEDs around the bezel much like there wide bands

Here are three of mine to go where the stereo should go in a mk2 dash, the tru boost is going in one of the heater controls

I run an Apexi AVCR which I think is great. Expensive but gives quite a lot of information plus I think boost by gear would be useful in a fwd car.
