Hi guys,
Hope someone can help. I'm about to do the white ring mod and turn the boost up on my freshly re built 1.5TD . However I have been told that there is a safety valve that needs welded up as it opens at 1bar or 14 psi. I have an intercooler fitted and am ready for more boost. Bit pointless if I can only hit 1 bar when I know these are capable of 1.2/ 1.3.

In short, could someone tell me or even post a picture of where the safety valve is so that I can seal it up please.

Is that the circular item that is attached to the inlet under where the original air filter should be?
