i've just replaced the 15td engine in my nova with the one out of my corsa and after changing everything but the fuel pump from one engine to the other i've realised the fuel pumps are slightly different between the two

on the corsa engine i've just put in the pump had a 3 wire plug going in to it and on the nova loom theres only a single wire plug to go into the fuel pump

does anyone know what the 3 wires out the corsa plug are? or if i'll be able to wire it so that the engine runs?

i tried the haynes manual but it doesnt have any wiring diagrams for the diesel engine unfortunately

some pics if it helps

IIRC the 3 wires are the immobilizer, you need to only connect the black/yellow wire straight to the stop solenoid

so all i need to do is connect the black/yellow into the single wire on the nova loom? and just forget the other two?

cheers

Is there a black box on the pump that the wires go into?

Remove it thats the imobilser, connect your black/yellow wire in your loom to the black/yellow wire on the other side of the box that goes to the stop solenoid
