cold starts

My mum has a nail of a Nova Saloon, Whenever it freezes she cant start the pile of junk. It sound as if the battery is flat, but htne you try about an hour alter and its O.K. Can anyone PLEASE help me cause whenever this happens she drives of in my motor! HELP!

Haha, i heard of this b4, but cant remember wot it was. Try givin the battery connectors a scrap with a wire brush!! And make sure all cells r toped up with de-ionised water!!

Irs a brand new battery, and i already checked the cells. I think i will torch the thing to stop her using mine.

well my company is doing a bean dew 1.3 ford Ka on a 2 year contract for ?105 a month. its got body coloured bumpers, get her to buy that, its a bargin.

aint there some stuff that you can get that is called cold start or damp start?
spray it on the engine etc and this should seal it hence make it start
not sure if its the answer but a possiblity
