I'm just in the middle of taking my engine out that I've sold. It's a c14se and obviously needs the loom with it. I've realised that there is no plugs anywhere and it's all one loom running throughout the whole car. Is this right Lol? Do I have to take it all out and sell it with the engine or do people cut it somewhere?

Wouldn't mind but when I come to fitting a new engine I'm going to need a full loom again.

C14SE and C16SE both used an integral engine and car loom so yes it's all together,

Bit of a PITA

Well that's gay lol

This is just going make sourcing a new engine even harder as ill need a full loom again :(

What engine are you thinking of putting in? Cant you sell it without the loom to save removing your entire one?

Ideally putting a c16se in or if I can't find one will get a c16xe.

I don't mind taking it out, just a bit of a ballache. I've already told the guy that it comes with the loom. Do people cut them near the ecu and join them onto their loom or is that just too bodged lol?
