I was losing fluid from a burst seal on a rear cylinder on my SR so I put on a new one, it doesn't seem to sit completely central on the front piston. Here are two pics.

I have driven it and it seems ok but will it cause a problem in time or should it be ok?

If it is a hassle, I could just put a washer or two behine the bolt bit to even it out?

Thanks

If its the same as what was originally on there then i cant see it being a problem but that is the problem with patent parts, you could fit a washer or 2 but i cant see it causing a problem as it is just to check you did put the cylender on the right way didnt you?

Yes I did thanks, although would anyone be surprised if I hadn't lol.

So long as it is safe and works, I suspect there would have to be an awful lot of movement for the brake to slip of even that amount of piston.
