idle control vale

morning fellow nova lovers, im running a c20xe and have come across the idle control valve, which has 2 pipes on it one is going to the throttle body and the other is just lose. im running a power cap so not sure if it is suppost to run to the sfi box if so where should i put it?

If its the long one it should go to the powercap IIRC.

Whats connected on the power cap itself? How does the car run/idle/accelerate?

i havent started it yet but just wanted to get everything properly plumbed/wired up. when looking at the cap i couldnt find any where for the other pipe to go, also not sure where it actually get bolted to
