I know im probably going to look stupid asking this but I bought some speaker cable for my novavan and when I stripped the insulation back the cables themselves are two different colours, does it matter which one goes to positive and negative?

Is there a +/- marking on the outer sheath? It might justbe a way of iidentifying which ones which at each end.
Doesn't matter. Even if they say + & -
Just ensure the polarity is the same at HU/amp and speaker.
That's what I mean, if there's no marking on the sheath its the way of identifying at either end.
