Up for sale is a 1kg automatic extinguisher system

The automatic fire protection system developed by Lifeline features a 1kg ABC dry powder extinguisher that is fully automated using the Protectowire fused detection system. This activates Lifeline’s patented self-contained compact lithium cell battery-operated firing head when a temperature of 180ºC has been registered.

Included in the kit is the bottle mount, bottle with firing head and gauge, pipe work and nozzles this makes a really neat little kit ideal for engine bays and piece of mind on a track car or even a daily runner with an expensive motor.

The kit is all brand new, never fitted.

How far away can the extinguisher be mounted from the nozzles?

With the pipe supplied with this kit the nozzles mount about a meter a way from the bottle, so the bottle would be put behind the firewall and the nozzle mounted on the other side pointing at the engine/fuel rail.

Although if different lengths of pipe were added the bottle could be mounted inside the car.
