Since 23 of March I'm the proud owner of the very rare Corsa MichalakSpider. The car is restaurated bij a member of my corsa forum (corsaa.nl).Unfortunately his body condition did n't alow to finish his hobby and project.To bad for him but , yihaa for me.

In the first this bling-bling engine was in, but before control, the engine broke, wechecked everything exept the oilpomp, so the layerscales etc, ware damaged.
On the internet I found a other 1.4 si and in the first week of may, it wasput in, it run good and I passed the control.

back to the michalak. what strengthening frame is fitted into the shell?? the underside pic looks like a standard car, so i guess all the frame is on the inside. do you have any pics?

There are on a view strenthening points, in the rear trunk at the sides. in the middle there's a big iron strengthening. and in front of the car under the dash in the corner next to the padels. I shall make some pics if you like.

A friend with a spider told me the michalak is more sollid, than his spider. But I will make pics. Maybe Duick knows more about it.

Mowgli, there's another guy from Holland on here corsa boomer? He's got a project thread restoring one, in it is lots of detail pictures with the strengthening parts in them.

Also I must say these are ace and I love what your doing to it, did you not feel tempted to go back to mk1 though?

This week I struggled around for some kick-ass wheels. I have 2 choises or real German style, small wheels and breid. Or the orginal syle real 80ties style.

Those where a bit wide... :-( Et18-9J in the back...

I must say the Schmidt TH-line realy kicks ass. but there very expensive to... So just to look whrigt on Oschersleben, I put on my fido dido shirt and put those Centra wheels on, ass soon if I get them out Germany.. (saarbrucken) :)

Love to come, but I'm quitte busy. Just build a new garage and our house must be repainted etc. And if I'm honnest, I find it a pitty that this meeting is only 2 days. It's quitte a trip, I don't think this year, but maybe the next onewith Vlietje and Niek. And of couse with my Michalak, or one of my other corsa's. ;-)

It is officially 2 days but I normally get there on the Thursday and it usually starts on the Friday. There are a few people that make aweek of it.

Thanks, dispite the mrs. tought I bought the BADmobile in first case...She loves the little trips we made. We try to visit some little villages of Holland, and with good weather it's great. Most of the time she's chilling with sunglasses on her nose enjoying the wind in her hair!
