what do i do??

hello all, right going to be making a start on the rear arches tomorrow, but in need of a little advice on how to get around this? do I shape it round the fuel cap or just cut the panel back so it misses the hole ?? going to be replacing the sill at the same time.

As long as the metal round the fuel cap is Ok, I'd say cut the repair panel back. Much easier than trying to shape it to fit the recess.

its look ok and seems to be solid round the fuel cap but I need to rub it all back so not sure what im going to find.
