is the cam timing right? are all the cam followers there & intact?

is the cat blocked up?

is the lambda sensor working?

The usual things to check that are often overlooked, earth straps, lambda, cams, broken wires, dizzy. I take it it turns over, just doesn't "catch" and run...

Is the fuel fresh? You could try some easy start in the inlet to see if that helps at all (old school test)? Is the ECU tested?

What gave the indication that the car was overfueling? Did you check all the fuses and relays?

Yea mate all are ok the spark plugs were covered in fuel instantly we took the plugs out and turned the engine over an it spat loads of fuel out like it was coming out of a jet if that makes sense !?!

as long as its sparking and the firing order is right then its not the ign.

if its over fueling then there could be an issue with the throttle body, either the injector is stuck open or the FPR is too high.

unplug the injector and see if it chuffs over a bit as it burns the excess fuel.
