In the process of rebuilding a C20XE and have had the crank polished, new gear for the oil pump from SBD and have noticed some wear on the crank where the oil pump gear fits.
I have measured the wear and it's 0.30mm on the crank. As i have a new oil pump gear would this cause any problems relating to oil pump failure or any play on the crank inside the oil pump?
I have taken pictures but cannot upload as i am at a friends house and have no lead to connect to the macbook.
If anyone could help asap as this has now stopped the build until i know if it is safe to continue.
