Done a conversion into my nova a while back now and can't get it to start had 2 different crank sensors on it, new ignition module and battery, new plugs aswell. Not getting power to anything really took the engine out a running car aswell. Anybody any ideas?

When you say your not getting power to anything, is the battery good/proven reliable? Is the earth straps good? If it has power from the battery and it is going to the starter, and the starter is dead then I would look at the starter itself/wiring etc.

Battery is brand new getting power to the starting like its turning over just not sparking

I'm guessing you've checked to see if there is an actual spark being created? Coil? Leads?

Yeh earthed the plug when cranking but nothing. The engine was running when I took it out tho so don't think they would be at fault? Would they?

Without looking at the engine, its hard to be of any help, sorry. :(

The only thing I can suggest is double check everything, then have a break, or leave it overnight and then return to it fresh and clear headed and then go through it all again. If it was running before it was swapped over, then it must be something simple or silly.

I've been at it for like 2 months double checked everything. I'm just running the switched live to the battery just now to see it run but can't see that being my problem

Where abouts are you? Maybe someone local could have a look?

Just thought of something. I've got 20xe engine and using a loom with a lambda plug on it? Would I have something to do with that?

Should still start without lambda

Sounds like you've missed something when wiring it in,
I bet it's something simple too, is your ECU powering up? Check your getting voltage to your injectors on cranking too,

Was having problems with power to injectors aswell before what would that be?

Wiring mate,

Poor earth, poor power supply, wrong conections, poor conection, choose your poison I'm afraid.

I've got all my earths on, 3 on the rail, gearbox and one from battery to bulk head. It's in a 1.2 carb saloon, what about the mini loom plug, nothing to do with that or that just simple plug in

I'm having the same issue on my GSI ... Tried everything and still no spark?

Gave you managed toget her running yet ?
