Alright Folks!

I would really appreciate if someone could please tell me, what the filter is used for that is found in the inside arch (drivers side). I have a 1.4sri and never seen this filter on any of my other novas.

There is 3 pipes going into it and i had to take it of to remove my front bumper as it was in the way of the bolts.

Thanx!

sounds like an active carbon canister to me but mine was under the passenger arch. check the haynes 4 carbon canister if it is block the vacuum and fuel return pipes and bin it useless piece of crap. or it might be an egr but i no nothing about these so again check the haynes

it condenses unused fuel vapour from the inlet and returns it to the tank, evapourative loss control.... :D
