Ive recently put a x14xe (one without the powersteering pump)out of a late corsa b sri into my nova with a digi dash and im having problems with the wiring.
I have got it as far as turning over but left with 9 pin pug and unsure where to connect everything. Green wire from plug is rev counter, red with blue needs to be have +12v and brown with yellow is ecu warning light.
Also i believe the early x14xes dont have imobiler built in is this true? as i dont have a obd plug or any other plugs for transponder etc.
Any wiring diagrams and pictures much appreciated :)

here is the wiring diagram you need to get it running, if it wont start you may have to get a ecu with the transponder and ignition ring

Thanks for the diagram chris. Is there a difference between the late corsa b sri ecu and the sport one (does the sri ecu have an imobiliser)? as on the loom i have there isnt any other plugs to connect the transponder. Or is than incorperated through the 9 pin plug?

it has to be wired in seperate as it would be further on in the corsas loom behind the dash as you can see the diagram shows you how to wire the immob pick up into the loom

ive got a af type for mine but there are a couple of different ones i dont know what the difference is but i got mine of somone who was using it on his x16xe conversion. are you running standard clocks or a digidash?

tbh i think you can wire in the standard digidash one as long as the ecu is getting a pulse otherwise it will cut outwhen you stop at traffic lights etc

Ok thats perfect lads. Ive got the ak one from the digi dash so i can give both a try. ive facebooked a dismantlers and managed to get the vss, transponder, key and ecu for £50.
Thanks for the help. much appreciated. :) :) :)

Back again folks. Got a new loom from a tigra with key transponder and ecu from a car that was running. followed the diagram but still no joy. she turns over but you only hear the fuel pump kick in when you take your hand off of turning her over. i changed the fuel relay aswell still the same.
There is power at the fuel pump wire when ignition on and when its cranking. but seems to be that it wasnt goin when cranking (either that or i couldnt hear it) I also tried using the fuel pump to pull in a relay and took a freshfeed from the battery still the same. Possibly the ecu is immobilised??

i am not getting any spark at the coil but getting ignition live, cranking live and the is a positive connection to earth at the plug, ill take that the black yellow is a signal from the ecu to pull in the coil?
ive tried another coil pack (from the running tigra) as i thot it was that at first but no joy.

there is also a plug beside the 9 pin plug with black/green, black/white and black/blue. i dont think this was connected in the tigra but just thought id mention incase this might be a problem aswell.
