I don't think you've got a C16xe loom there, if it was a C16xe loom you'd have blue and red connectors that go into your ecu, yours loom white and red on here:

Also you've got a metal inlet which is another tell tail sign.
that's what I thought myself southie same as mine a x16xe

You'll need all the transponder for that ecu to match so it runs.
C16xe's came with black plastic inlets and have blue and red connectors on the ecu.

Well that's me ****ed then! What's this rumor about if the ecu is superchipped it removed the immob

Just get a X16xe ecu with chip and transponder, it should run then.
Could you get it from the car you got the engine from??
Re: the superchip thing I'd not bother trying to get hold of one.

The seller said the ecu had been chipped and I don't know the car it came out of. I have asked him. If it doesn't run tomorrow I'm just going to get a pair off eBay. But I have nowhere to wire it into!

He also said it was a C16!!!
Take the cover off the ECU to see if its a superchip, I doubt it will have though.
Get a claim in through egay if its not older than 40 days.

i have every wire on the plug sorted except these two, i know one is ign live but the thicker one is blue at the top. i am also missing a blue coolant temp wire coming from this plug so i think it must be one of these?

I have it firing now and it will run for about 3 seconds then die is this the immobiloser cutting in?
Also the fuel pump doesn't prime and I can only get it running if I run a live to the fuel pump constantly
