Has anyone put c20xe valves into a 1200/1300 8v head? stem dia/length/head dia match up the only difference i can see is c20xe valves have a triple collet groove and 1300s have a single collet groove, my reason for asking is that i have a 1300 head in need of repair and while i have it stripped down if its possible to fit the JRE +2MM Waisted c20xe valves into it i most probably will... ta :)

I'd check that don't need new seats. I was sure the 8v valves were longer unless its just the 1.6 8v valves. You can get single groove 20xe valves, not sure if that's what jre is selling or not though. But probably get valves cheaper going direct to paul ivey(rec)

What specs rest of engine?

you could fit 1.6 valves & cut the seats out further.
the 2.0 8v ones are larger still, but are about 2 mm longer.
