What engines fit directly into the 1.3SR engine bay, with no modification eg. standard mounts, no bodywork alterations.

anything up to and including the 1.6 small block! (GTE/GSI!)
Not sure if the 1.0 mounts r different, i dont think they are tho!

What about Corsa engines?

any vaux small block engine will go in, icl from other cars eg corsa n astra. 1 itre drivers mount is different so ud have to move it 2 fit nethin over a 1 litre. if ur lookin 4 a cheap balance between insurance n tuneability ur prob best goin 4 a 1.4 16v or a 1.6 16v if u can afford the insurance
