Need a power box to remove the wafty old inlet system !

there was a used one on the bay, i payed £80 for a used one with the throttle body last week and they are £90 posted new on ebay

yeah i see the new ones, but a few months back i fitted one for my mate on his corsa and the end flange wasnt flush so it just had a massive air leak. was stupid and i don't really want to run that risk haha

a vx one. you know on the throttle body flange it had a little box section poking out where the breather goes into the throttle body. that was off at a angle so it didnt seal and no way to fit it without cutting and re-welding!

ah, ive got one on but i got it 2nd hand, you did take off the egr bit off the throttlebody diddent you?

yeah that bit was removed, its part of the tb itself and had the corresponding cut out on the powerbox to fit. it was just not straight. if someone can get a pic of the bottom of one i shall show you

edit: just found a pic. you see the little extra square on the bottom left of the pic. thats the bit that was at a dodgy angle allowing a massive air leak.

the guy who makes the steel opd ones is on mig and is normal realy good, ive got one of the ally ones and it dosnt have that on it
