Clean gsi in an impound

Saw a gsi in dvla impound today very clean. Does anyone know if its reclaimable by the likes of me?? Pics to follow many thanks paul

Could be impounded for any number of reasons;

- Tax out of date/No tax
- Displaying wrong tax disk
- Parking penalties unpaid
- VOSA prohibition PG9
- Stolen Recovered
- Proceeds of Crime

Usually the pounds recover and store cars for many reasons (including the above)
