waiting in line at the surgery, you can hear thru every doorway, a dremel on the go, and some poor bugger screaming. a nice, calm, soothing wait for your go that is.

then when its your turn, they strap you on a recliner and shine a bright light in your eyes, shoot you with god knows what, and start inflicting pain, just like an alien abduction !

I love the dentists lol

the nurses were one bonus to the nightmare, and another bonus is, ill look like slyvester stallone until this anesthetic wears off lol

my birds a dental nurse and that got me to the top of the 6-7 month waiting list lol

going next week for the first time in 15+ years I'm bricking it my teeth dont hurt or anything but I know there going to find loads of problems :roll:

But the nurses

our dentist used to have a proper amazon woman (for the younger generation, she was tall, blond & well fit, as opposed to one who was delivered in a box).. but she left to have a baby..... the current one is pleasant & homely... i think the dentist's wife hired her.. lol

what is weird at our checkups is that he puts wifey & kids on the chair & talks politely to them, but when i get in the chair, his language gets rather industrial.....my 11 year old told him off for using such words last time lol lol lol lol

I hadn't been for about 10+ years up until last year I went because I got an nhs card and it was all free anyway so I thought what the hell al pay them a visit, like you my teeth never hurt or anything either.........


1 year down the line 11 FILLINGS later and 3 ROUTE canal treatments later I'm still receiving treatment, Infact I've got the dentist this Saturday and I can only ever go on a Saturday due to work, pretty much ruins my weekend.

The last time I was their (2 weeks ago) just as my dentist was finishing off she slipped off my tooth with the drill and cut the inside of my mouth. Due to your mouth bleeding ten times as much as a cut anywhere else I must have lost about a pint, blood everywhere.

Agreed... My dentist is ace tbf... Plus my Mrs is the nurse!

i only go when im out of work and its free as i think its a rip off but im 26 and never had a filling in my life and i have all of my teeth but i think i might have to book in to have my wisdoms removed as they are giving me hell at the momemnt
