Where does everyone suggest I sit the Nova on axle stands at the rear, it's going to be on them for a while, with no rear beam. I've looked at where the beam connects to the car but it doesn't seem completely horizontal... I'm worried it might slip off.

sill flanges?

it wont slip off the chassis unless you are being wild with it.

there are many answers to this question. but you can only do what feels right within your heart.

anything on the rear makes it a pig to refit the beam without messing around again.

i used to run a scaffold board under the rear sitting on both sill flanges and supported by 2 wheels on each side. spread the load evenly and safely. It meant i could access the beam and tank with no issues.

I've got it on the sills atm, but I don't like the idea of leaving them on the bare axle stands for a long time. Merit that's a Fecking ace idea, I justnneed the scaffolding board now.

You can get axel stands on the chassis legs just in front of where the rear beam mounts are.

they weigh sod all on the back. either make up some wooden spacers for the sill cutouts that fit on axle stands, or use a plank under the floor & stands/concrete blocks to support it.

I always sit it on the chassis legs, just in front of the beam mountings.

As the aboves. Good and strong and means you can get to the beam mounts easy.

Same just a bit of a pain tucking the stand under the filler neck on the drivers side when lowering it down

Get the \_/ shaped bit on the top of each stand in where the beam mounts; done right, you can remove & refit the beam without fuss.

Not all weight f all at the rear Mog ;o
