No not yet lol but I've wanted a red gsi for ages, and this came up for £2k with a valver and speedlines, and a complete interior, not the back seats out etc its pretty much exactly what I wanted realy but without the hassle of building one myself

It's not got a strengthening kit mate you will need one or it will split,

Only needs the bay stitch welding.

smitsturbo

so you would prefer stitch welding over a strengthening kit?

I have only ever stitched, Never had a problem. That is what I am getting at.

No point in fitting the kit to the o/s chassis leg as the GSI and GTE's already had strengthened o/s chassis legs from the factory,

Looks the part mate :)

If you can, and youre going to have an empty bay, then id strengthen and stitch it, if youre going for a let, then youre going to want ever more power, so doing both while the bay is empty can only be a good idea!

As far as I know the seller didn't sell him it because there was someone coming with a trailer to buy it.

Hi guys yeah was the one I was after and can't really fault the car some odd little things but what nova without a restoration don't have them.lol just the previous owner messed me about later found out was cause I'm from Aberdeenshire and we all clearly steal cars hence when the new owners mates collected was in asda car park only reason I got to view it at his lockup was that clay took me an he didn't know where I was from at the time, I was agreed on a cheaper price aswell and thought it was mines until he stopped replying and answering calls but none the less nice car and good luck with it mate I'm now in talks with another red Gsi off the fourum so we'll see what happens :)
