Thought i'd let you lot have a sneaky peak at 1 of my races this year, its in the french alps in july, the start line is a black grade ski slope thats 11,000ft above sea level. your average downhill course is 3-4 minutes long.... this takes the top guys 1.5 hours to get down lol

Rather you than me, this time last month the lower slopes past 7000ft were heavy slush like that, boarding on it was hard work..

your on.... then when we get a few thousand feet lower you'll be running lol lol

part of this is glacier aparently.... so should be fun :d

Is that the 16km black run at alp d'huez, the Sarenne or something?

If it is, 40% of it is nearly flat.

its 30km long, yeah there is a lot of pedal, but 40% of 30km is a lot of downhill lol and im not doing it on my full downhill rig

i am MEGA into dh , and dirt jump etc, but whats the point of that, mite aswell ski, or walk lol

There's only a bit of it that's on the glacier.... If you're a keen DHer then the megavalanche is a must, epic fun!
