View Full Version : Lower Arm Polly Bushes?
Am about to order my arm bushes from RD. They list two,
Polysport Polyclassic, Superflex
And
Polyrace.
What the difference? Anyone know?
polysport are yellow and a slightly softer compound
polyrace are red and the harder of the 2
I'd say the polyrace red's are slightly harder than powerflex's purple compound if you've ever had your hands on that. No experience of the yellows
I've driven a car fitted with the purple ones. At the time was a fan, but not mine hard anyway so i think i wont mind.
I have red ready to fit to my tie bars anyway.. So guess they might aswell match. Will they be mega hard?
Asking the wrong person I think, I thought the 250 lbs springs with my 1.6 8v were too soggy but everyone that went in the car complained about the ride.
lol hhmmm i'll wait for a few more replies then. Cheers tho dude.
I always fit yellows, theyre just that little less harsh. :)

I've had experience with the red aswell. Had them on a 1.2 mk1 road car with AVO coilovers and found them pretty hard if i'm honest. They really did make a difference to the handling though. I've opted for the purple powerflex for my current build for the bottom arms, although using the RD for the tiebars and rear beam etc. Really well made and cheap for the price new! (Got mine 2nd hand)

Think i might go for yellow ones then.
