do i have to take the wing off to replace it or can you do it on the car?

There is a acess hole on inner wing thats held in with 2 bolts . Dobt know how much acess it will give ya

If it has the access hole it is also a support to the aerial base if I remeber correctly, assuming original one fitted.

You'll still need to take the wing off though!

its piss easy to do,
take bumper off then you have the the bolts in engine bay, 2 bolts that hold wing to lower front panel, and 2 bolts behind the the kick panel inside car

because i know what will happen, i will cleanit the will want to under seal and waxoyl while its off which will require goi g back to bare metal to do a propper job so a half hour job will turn into half a day but then the other side will need doing lol

yes, and then because ive done under the wing i will start on the rest of the underside and will then be in a rush to get it all done for the national weekend

i just cut the wires and soldered the new one onto the old wires :)

its not a case of feeding the wire its getting it off the car. ive not done one before

I replaced one on my first nova many years ago. I didnt take the wing off. Just reach up the inside of the wing.

how are they held on, i never looked at the new one properly just stuck it on the shelf in my garage

looks like if the suns out tomorrow and wednesday bumper and both wings will be comming off to do the areial and undersealing and possibly some welding if there is any hidden nastys
