views on toyo tr1's

hi there,
looking at ordering a set of 4 toyo tr1 tryes for my redtop nova. wont be used on track just everyday use but will be pushed now and again so need the grip there.

I used to use them on my pulsar gtirs running around 300hp, great all round tyre!

Recently I have heard a few folk in the garage say they ar not as good as they used to be, the t1r was superseded last year iirc.
I've heard a good few folk raving about Hankook Tyres being good for fast road/ track days.
