I did the ramshackle rally last year, epic, recomend it to anyone.

back in '95, i did 1600 miles in a £200 b reg 1600 maestro round france, including leMans, but it was my honeymoon!!!!! i think a rally round europe in a car that you simply can't get the bits for is would be a hell of an adventure.....everyone should buy a rover & then chance it.

its a bargain aswell.... £500 gets you all ferry and eurotunnel costs, 9 nights in 3-5* accomodation, breakfast and some evening meals. something to tell the grandkids eh.

my thoughts exactly!! i've signed up to the mailing list so they'll send out info when registration is available. you have 3 people per car and they put around 10 cars together in a 'squadron' and your given tasks each day to gain points. the best 1 this year was get as many photos of human pyramids as possible but 1 of the locals has to be at the top, another was pic up a hitchhiker and for every 10 miles you take them you get 1 point!
