Signum tow bar wiring?

Hi can I simply just fit a normal 12N scoket to a Signum and T off the rear lights or do I need the correct loom?

you should be able to just scotch lock into the wiring, the dedicated wiring would just plug into the rear fuse box but would probably want activating.

Had a look on ebay and they are plug and play and don't need coding but they are expensive. All the second had bars just come with normal 12n/s sockets etc and a bit of wire. I hope i can get away with just the basic tbh,

Because they have bulb warnings you need a relay. Done a few vectra c's in the past. Not expensive. Easy to wire up.
