bit of a problem lads,

me nova got a fair amount of overspray on it (i was not around at the time it happened otherwise there would have been slaps) this overspray has hardener in it just like car paint

i used thinners to take it off the windows (two hours hard deep rubbing) but theres no way im putting it on the paintwork

its a total pity cause my car has only been resprayed (red) and the overspray is white n it looks a C%$T

any suggestions welcome as to how i can get this off - i know rubbing compound will but im not using that

cheers mates,

if you cant be arsed with just rubbing it off. use 2000grit wet or dry, then buff it back up, but only if your confedent eneugh.

i dunno if that was a joke, but if not -

over spray is where spray paint goes over the masked area, so there is paint where it shouldnt be.

cheers lads for the replys

and no im not confident enough cause i dont want to ruin the deep gloss thats on the car already cause of just gettin it resprayed

i had another idea of just leaving it on the car for about a month or so until it becomes 'dead' and then spending a weekend polishing it off ___ i figure it would come off easier and with less abrasive

any ideas?

cheers
