This is my nova saloon I bought back in 2011 for my first car. Picked it up off a bloke whos father had died and passed it down to him and thought it was worth nothing, so I asked a price and was told £300 for a 41k Nova, couldnt resist! So got it home and took some photos.

Then I finally passed my driving test and had some money lined up so I could start spending money on it!

Got some Astra G wheels with almost new tyres off a mate for £50! ;)

Then went mad one day on ebay and bought some lowering springs, a new fancy rocker cover, sub and an amp, and lowering springs, was a good day for everyone!

Bit of a wash up and a polish made her looks nice, with the wheels and springs fitted, looks 10x better and doesn't feel like I'm driving a boat around lol

Got crashed into one night by a mate who was drifting in the snow, bent a wing, and all the paint cracked and rust started to grow -.- filled it quickely and tried on some ATS Cups, what do we think?

Not a great photo but I've never done any body work before and was quite proud of what I'd done!

Got a bit bored with some lens I found...

What about some Compomotives? The offset is perfect on them! but they rub the arches too much when theres people in it so had to get rid of them.

Got a heat gun on the bumpers and the difference is just amazing in them, looks so much more clean!

Doh! Was getting a bit too clever with reversing and completely missed the drop kerb and stopped dead and this was the outcome...dread to think what I did under the car...

Can't go wrong with a few hours work and some T cut now can you!

And this is how she sits now! Back on the mega skinny steels while I paint my alloys, got some body work to do which I will upload photos of as I get it done!
Cheers for looking guys will add more photos as more goes on, this is my first project post so let me know if I've done anything wrong and opinions on me car!

Not a bad effort for your first project. We all had to start somewhere.

The cups are my mates wheels, he had them handy and had the wheel off so thought might as well have a go! Cheers Simon, I've got a few more bits and bobs planned, only really had money the last 3 months to spend so haven't had the chance to get loads of bits in. May possibly be getting some Cobra Le Mans reclining seats and some Team Dynamic Prorace 1.2 wheels for it soon! No where near finished though! Planning a 1.6 8v swap soon!

Cheers! haha mine's not that clean, got a few rust patches down the near side and a extremely badly filled and sprayed rear offside arch which is just embarrasing haha! Wish I had a nova hatch as well!

Cheers everyone else as well! Ah sweet I'll check it out, rally loon should be interesting! I want to get it a bit lower so its a bit more flush but I dont wanna be rolling the arches and messing them up! Any ideas anyone?

Thanks man! Got to admit if I was looking for one, this wouldn't be my first choice being a 4 door but hey! See what the future brings, really want a hatch as well
