C20xe in to nova wiring

Hi I'm havering real trouble getting my engine to turn over I have done all the wireing from a guide off here but can't get engine to turn over I have a earth strap on the gear box but the engine has the loom on it and the positive battery and negative and next to gear box I have wireing this to wires by the battery tray I have ignition lights but wont turn also should I hear fuel pump I'm new to this project and don't want to give up thanks

Have you wired up the starting and charging loom properly?

Could be dead starter motor?

have you charged the battery, and if so, have you tested it??

Battery is fine just a bit lost wireing is my down full

Earth on your starter motor mate or it won't do anything

If it's not firing up at all but you have dash lights etc and other electrical stuff works, then as has been said it will be an earth strap somewhere :)

short the 2 large posts on the starter with a spanner, this will bypass the solenoid and make it spin over, if that works. short the solenoid pin to the live post and that should prove the motor and solenoid and any further problems will be your loom and/or ign switch.
