So.... We have the C20LET and the modern equivalent is the Z20LET. So what's the newer version of the C20XE or do we just rely on turbos and ****ty ecotec engines now? I was just thinking tha I hhadn't heard of any modern setups with TB's, everything's turbo now a days. Happy to be proved wrong.

The eco-pish is the newer version of the xe

the equivelant now is probably the 1600T or a diesel.

however they did use a xe in jason platos chevvy touring car so it cant be that out of date

yeah, they were using the xe when everybody else were beating them in turbos.

they used the xe cos the eco tech is pish

X20xev replaced the c20xe. I guess the z22se replaced that. Then y22se was it? The 1.8's seem to become the larger n/a choice now.

there is not much point fitting a 20xev when you can fit a 18xe with nearly the same performance.
