FK coilovers help needed

Just bought some fk ak street coilovers, and on putting them together with the topmounts from my standard shocks ive found that the whole strut seems to be spinning rather than the bearing when i turn the topmount, is this supposed to happen?

Ive tried fitting the topmount with and without the big black upper spring seat thing shown in this thread, but it still seems to be spinning the whole damper. . .very confused!- http://www.pngclub.com/forum/showthread.php?127188-Top-mount-fitted-Gaz-Coilovers.

Any pics of how its assembled? Does the bearing in the spring cap move freely when the top mount is off it?

Should also point out that the second nut supplied with the set (nyloc) wont fit on when the big black spring seat with bearing is in. Dont know if that means anything though!
