View Full Version : Rear hub nut socket size?
As title,need to do a rear wheel bearing for my mot but cant be arssed going out to the garage & jacking it up,taking the wheel off to then discover i dont have the right size socket & need to go buy one lol

if you're really stuck for a socket the you can use water pump pliers or eagle beaks or whatever you choose to call them or just a large enough pair of pliers. The nut is barely over finger tight anyway.
its normally the only greasy socket in the upper range of my socket set anyway so i never look at the size. xxx
iirc 24mm, nipped up and backed off, job done.
