nova 1.7 conversion engine mount pics

Hi all
Anyone got any pics of the conversion mount for nova 1.7 td from a 1.5?
Just realised this as im half way through doing it :roll:

Do you not just use the 1.5 timing gear and the 1.5 mount?

1.5 alternator and 1.5 mounts, lose the power steering unit

1.5 timing cover etc is different to my 1.7 ive picked up though so it wont just bolt on, power steering pump is off already, just wondered as ive seem some things about people having to make a mount adaptor

Ill look into swapping timing etc but an adaptor for mount would be much easier, only as engine is out etc + meant to be going for mot saturday lol dont think thats happening now

You don't need to change the mount point's if it started as a 1.5TD, the petrol mount is in a different place to the diesel so if you have a petrol shell you'd need to change the mount, it should take less than a day to do the conversion, you have everything you need.

yes its an original td shell, but what i meant is the 1.5 engine half of the mount will no way bolt up to the 1.7, nothing is in the right place
Is exhaust downpipe the same?

You need to basically strip the 1.7 down to a bare block and bolt on all the 1.5 stuff
