running a GTE lump on Webers, what distributor

i hear 1.3/1.4 8v distributors ?

these the vacum ones ?

then the vacum advance is blocked off ? if so can i not use the electric advance ones and not plug them in ? seem to be more common


not got a clue which to use and what i need to attach, idealy not wanted to run and extra electrics hense mentioning vacum dizzy

whats the best set up to use pretty confused

Need a mechanical one (off a carb 1.3-1.4)
1.4 is the one that most people use, pin drive dizzy.

One off an injection engine is no use to you.

You can either pipe it into the inlet or just blank it off. Either works.

The difference is argueable.
If its no hassle to connect it then do so.
