With great displeasure I must part with my nova...
It's a increasingly rare mk1 1.4 SR in glacier white. 2 owners from new covered 59k miles. 9 months mot and 3months tax.
Recent respray in glacier white. Wings and a rear quater replaced.
Blydenstein big valve head,
Rebuilt recently with new pump, belt, gaskets, stat etc,
Port matched polished inlet,
Irmscher sport weber 40s,
Irmscher sport airbox,
Kent ast22 rally cam,
Magnecor leads,
Full Ashley group n system,
Ap racing clutch,
Lightened flywheel,
Omex rev limiter set at 7200rpm
Rolling road to set up made 115bhp. Far quicker than my old GTE.
Refurbd cesaros,
Brand new toyo proxes t1-rs,
Spax all round,
Rear strut brace,
Quaife quick rack (2.5),
Astra gte brakes with new discs and pads.
Very solid shell, interior is also excellent condition.
Will see it go to a png member for £2500. It's on eBay now for £2850 Ono. Priced highly for a nova ill admit but I'm seeing far worse fetching more. I'm told there's only 12 mk1 1400 sr' currently on the road. This has to be one of the best out there.
All parts remain to go back oe spec other than the side mouldings. Would make great track/rally car or even show/concours with little effort either way! Again I may consider dropping price if I can retain some parts the buyer doesn't want. Hope it goes to a proper home not to some idiot. Please guys snap this up while you can, as i keep getting told, it's a keeper!
